Walk 001 of 100 second part

Walking out of Depression to Create a New Life of Happiness
Chapter One - Day One, Walk 001/100

Walk 001 of 100 - second album/part

One of the learnings from my 42 years of traveling, much of it on foot has been to look for unexpected details.

Here is one that caught my eye.  A crow on top of the Chestnut Grove Church's cross.

Here is another, a lone clover flower.  In April and May there are hundreds to thousands to be found all around us.

Here is an original school building that sits next to the Chestnut Grove Church

Here is the basic story behind this school building built for black children by black farmers then bought by the ACC school board

Scattered around the south, you can find many old cemeteries, black, white, mixed sometimes.  Some like in Madison, Georgia (city not county) there are separate cemeteries for Union soldiers, Rebel soldier and both have separate black and white sections

Usually, there are individual family areas

Another sign of Spring and Summer - YARD SALES

The litter along the roads is improving but still, there are cigarette butts

many different types of trees: pine, oak, maple, bamboo

Even government walks vary in direction.

Often I use such photos as analogies or metaphors for life.

One of my photographic themes is gardens and yard work.  I am guessing this circle once surrounded a tree long gone

A spring or summer wreath

One of the benefits of the excessive rain in April, May, June has been very bushy, full, colorful crepe myrtle bushes and trees.

Telltale details.....July 4th just happened

Often people post articles and photos about TINY HOUSES.  Here is a 'small' house

may be small yet still has a Direct TV antenna and a gas barbeque

and a protection sign, whether they have a contract or not.

These trees are blooming very well too  I believe it is called a Mimosa tree.

According to a Google search yes it is.

Mimosa or Persian Silk

thus the end of album 2, part 2 of Chapter One,
